Emile Mendes is a London based photographer, whose assignments incorperates various milestones that develop in different locales from architecture to fashion, and documenting such events through to the end result. His personal projects involve photographing people within different environments, and locations that convey various moods of expression, some of which have stories behind them. Mendes has worked on productions and films, more markedly ’Project One’ which went on to receive ’best film’ at the BFI/BBC Future Film Festival. He continued his role from location to stills photographer for the festivals trailer. He often finds peoples innovativeness through ideas or subjects they themselves have created, and getting to know the subject or person is always inspirational. His architectural based work captures a great range of perspectives, intricate detail and striking dimension.
